MESH FLINDERS:

CREATOR, LONELYGIRL15

Mesh Flinders is one of three creators of the popular lonelygirl15 series. His short film Pond has played at numerous film festivals, most recently at the New York Film Festival. He got his start as an assistant to director Ariel Vromen (Rx, Danika) and quickly began writing and developing projects with him. He grew up in a small town in Northern California and left after high school to attend Occidental College in Los Angeles. During college, Flinders studied abroad in Florence, Italy. In 2003 he was awarded the Briarcombe fellowship for his screenplay Gaviotas and in 2004 he won the Panavision New Filmmaker Award.
