The next edition of our popular Know Your Crew series will highlight the Art Department. Even low budget indies that shoot entirely on location require interiors that reflect the characters and their lives. The last thing a filmmaker wants is their film to look like it was shot at home, even if it was.

We’re pleased to feature an Art Department team; including Production Designer, Set Decorator and Prop Buyer who will explain their roles in pre-production and on set, and how they work together to bring the world of the screenplay—and the director’s vision— to life.

Speakers include Production Designer Tom Lisowski (The Magic of Belle Isle, Game of Assassins, Bad Country) and Hernan Camacho (Set Decorator, Dark Skies, Never Die Alone; Art Dept. Buyer, Straight Outta Compton).
