    The time since my last blog has been quite enjoyable and reflective. The holidays were very busy, but I was able to spend time with family and friends in the spirit of celebration. The eve of 2008 ended up becoming an impromptu family party at my house, and toasting 2009 and throwing a few back definitely jumpstarted my state of mind for all that is to come in the new year and beyond.

    Have you ever looked into the eyes of another human being for several minutes, without speaking, remaining still and relaxed, and not looked away? Before last week’s second Project Involve workshop, I could not recall the last time (if ever) I had stood before another person and looked at them. I mean really looked at them. Last week, I was given that opportunity courtesy of Joan Scheckel.

I hope all of you out there are doing well, and that you are feeling energized and inspired. I sure am. The results of the presidential election still impact me on a daily basis. Enough said.
