KEYNOTE ADDRESS

Acclaimed director Werner Herzog (Cave of Forgotten Dreams, Rescue Dawn, Grizzly Man) will speak on Saturday, October 22 and answer filmmaking questions from the audience. No other filmmaker has adapted to changing industry demands and media platforms and  sustained such a high level of commercial and critical success quite like Werner Herzog. Having produced, written, and directed more than fifty films — both narrative and documentary — and pioneered the Rogue Film School, Herzog will bring his tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to the Forum to inspire today’s filmmakers to liberate themselves from industry constraints and take control of their own projects.
