Description:
Get through your first draft and/or complete a polished final draft with this workshop. Through the development of your screenplay, become familiar with fundamental narrative structures; learn how to receive and give notes; how to filter through and incorporate notes into an existing script; and how to keep true to your vision as changes are made. Practical and business advice for the screenwriter will also be covered. Instructor Duane Dell'Amico's professional career spans over ten years, writing screenplays commissioned by American, Japanese, and European independents, as well as studios. His produced feature writing credits include Twilight of the Dark Master, Shooting Lily, Sleep With Me, and Rakuyu.

When: Wednesdays, April 2 - June 4, 7:00 pm.
Where: Film Independent office.
Price: $395 for Film Independent members; $495 for non members.
Reservations: Required. To apply for the course, send a treatment of the script you'd like to develop in the course by March 12, 2008, along with a cover sheet with your name and contact information.
