Producers: Jonathan Duffy and Kelly Williams
Jonathan Duffy and Kelly Williams formed a partnership in 2012 to produce Yen Tan’s feature Pit Stop, which premiered at Sundance in 2013 and was nominated for the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards’ John Cassavetes Award. Together they went on to produce Kat Candler’s 2014 Sundance selection Hellion, starring Aaron Paul and Juliette Lewis. The team later produced the Sundance 2015 documentary Beaver Trilogy Part IV as well as the 2015 SXSW competition feature 6 Years, directed by Hannah Fidell and executive produced by Mark and Jay Duplass. Additionally, the documentary short they co-produced, titled The Send-Off, premiered at Sundance 2016 and won a jury award at SXSW 2016 and the 2016 San Francisco International Film Festival.
The team co-produced Discreet, directed by Travis Mathews; A Bad Idea Gone Wrong, written and directed by Jason Headley (Special Jury Award at SXSW 2017) and Todd Rohal’s Suplex Duplex Complex (Best Midnight Short at SXSW 2017). Their latest projects, The Long Dumb Road, directed by Hannah Fidell and starring Jason Mantzoukas, Ron Livingston and Tony Revolori, and Sorry to Bother You starring Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Danny Glover and Armie Hammer, both premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival along with the short film Don’t Be a Hero that they executive produced.
