Alexandra Barreto has been on sets for over twenty years as an actress, writer, producer and director. Barreto’s directorial debut Lady Hater premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. She wrote and directed the short film Welcome to the 90s for Shudder Anthology. Barreto produced the Film Independent and Sundance supported Late Bloomers starring Karen Gillan. The film was released by Vertical. She also produced Too Late, starring John Hawkes and Robert Forster, which was released theatrically and secured a worldwide deal with Netflix. She is a Film Independent, IFP and Sundance Institute Creative Producing Fellow.
