Promoting unique, independent voices by helping filmmakers create and advance new work.
In an effort to keep our Fellows safe and healthy, all Artist Development programs will be conducted online for the remainder of 2020. Though we won’t be meeting face-to-face, the virtual landscape will allow us to broaden the scope of our programs and provide expanded access to filmmakers from different communities around the world.
Filmmaker Labs are open to all filmmakers, regardless of background, level of education/training or previous accomplishment. Fellows receive year-round support, including access to the Film Independent Forum, Directors Close-Up and more.

Film Independent + CNN Original Series Docuseries Intensive
