On a Shoestring: Ultra Micro-Budget Filmmaking, Part 3

On a Shoestring: Ultra Micro-Budget Filmmaking, Part 3
Over the past two months, our ‘On a Shoestring’ series has focused on ultra micro-budget productions through conversations with the teams behind films such as 7 Days and AJ Goes to the Dog Park, showcasing artists who have made successful films on shoestring budgets with passion, dedication, and determination.
On May 13, the series concludes with an in-person event, further exploring how to make films at the micro-budget level – without compromising your vision.
Joining our final panel are filmmakers Ron Najor and Courtney Stephens, who will talk about their most recent films, Adjunct and Invention, each made for under $100,000. Ron and Courtney will discuss the unique paths that lead them to completing these films, the creativity they utilized to manage their productions on small budgets, and how they each navigated the festival marketplace to get their films in front of audiences.
A reception will follow the panel discussion.
