Logline

Geraldine and Marshall need everything to be perfect and they work very, very hard to keep it that way, thank you very much. But when one of them questions the rigid rules of their game, their literal reset button stops working and they are forced to confront reality or risk losing each other forever.

Synopsis

We open in a lush and vibrant period sitting room: perfect, polished and put together. Geraldine enters and greets Marshall, but when their interaction goes awry, she hits her reset button. They start again. And then again, and again, and again, but each press of the button moves them further away from the perfection they crave – and each other.

When the facade finally shatters, we see Marshall and Geraldine as they actually are: a contemporary couple in a drab apartment trying to escape from the pain of infertility.

This genre-bending, fabulist and stylized love story deals with themes of pregnancy loss, grief, perfectionism, and all the ways we try to escape.
