Galt Niederhoffer is a producer, novelist and screenwriter. She has produced over twenty indie films, twelve of which premiered at Sundance. Her films have won the Audience, Screenwriting, Directing and Cinematography Awards. Niederhoffer’s films include The Kids are Alright, Robot and Frank, Infinitely Polar Bear, Grace is Gone and The Romantics and Lonesome Jim. Niederhoffer’s four novels are published by St. Martin’s Press, including Poison, A Taxonomy of Barnacles and The Romantics. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, Vogue and New York Magazine. She is an Adjunct Professor of Screenwriting at Columbia University.
