Erol Mintaş is a filmmaker who completed his studies in cinema and whose MA thesis was about Tarkovsky and existentialism in cinema. Following the success of several shorts and documentaries, his debut feature film, Song of My Mother, won the Heart of Sarajevo Award for Best Film and Best Actor in 2014 and many more awards around the world. Mintaş’s second feature film, Earth Song, had its world premiere at International Film Festival Rotterdam 2026 and is continuing its journey through the festival circuit.
