Sara is a Colombian filmmaker, producer, and writer. She is the executive producer of A Poet (Jury Prize, Un Certain Regard 2025, Spirit Awards Nominee 2026) and producer of the documentary Loving Martha (IDFA 2022, Toulouse 2023). She wrote and directed the TV miniseries Santa (2022), broadcast nationally on Colombia’s public television network, and the short films Arboles (2024) and The Darkest Sea (2019), both premiering at the Cartagena International Film Festival. She holds a master’s degree with distinction in Film Directing from Bournemouth University (UK). Sara is currently working on her debut feature film, Conejos (Rabbits).
