Marie-Louise ‘Malou’ Elia is a Lebanese screenwriter, director, editor, and lecturer. A Film Independent and Global Media Makers alumna, she has written, directed, and edited several films, including her latest short, Death & Other Fears, which is now touring in festivals. She teaches screenwriting and directing, and is pursuing her PDH in interactive fiction. In 2014, she was selected as an Editing Talent in the Middle East’s edition of Berlinale Talent. All while currently writing her first feature film and co-writing a comedy series.
