Secretary, written by Erin Cressida Wilson and directed by Steven Shainberg, follows a timid young woman who takes a job with a demanding attorney, setting the stage for an unconventional relationship that transforms both of their lives. The film received three Film Independent Spirit Award nominations in 2003, including Best Feature and Best Female Lead for Maggie Gyllenhaal, with Wilson winning Best First Screenplay.

Now, audiences can experience the acclaimed screenplay as a one-night-only Live Read, in partnership with MUBI, reimagined by visionary filmmaker and Film Independent Spirit Award nominee Jane Schoenbrun, and brought to life by Emmy Award winners Gillian Anderson, Hannah Einbinder and more talented cast members to be announced soon.
