Logline
Viv & Vivienne is a highly entertaining comedy-horror with twists, jump scares, and plenty of gore, but also a laser-focused social satire of latter-day Hollywood and the entrapments of modern fame and extreme fandom.
Synopsis
International movie star and America’s sweetheart, Vivienne Bryce, is famous, rich and having a shit year. At 46 (gasp!) she’s aging out of her movie star roles, making comedy flops and answering to the scandal her dickhead husband caused by leaving her for his young co-star. It’s killing her.
There is one leading role that, if landed, could bring Vivienne back from the brink. But even her own agent doesn’t believe she can pull off playing a psycho killer for Scorsese. Who, by-the-fucking-way, has asked her to audition!!! No one seems willing to bet on Vivienne anymore, except maybe her stan Viv Blanchard… Invisible and lonely, Viv is Vivienne’s number one fan. It is her entire identity. She knows in her smitten heart that if they meet properly they will be best friends forever.
Viv will be the Gayle to her Oprah and she’ll become famous too! AND So Viv devotes her ENTIRE life to stalking Vivienne. One fateful night at Vivienne’s remote getaway home, where she’S preparing to get into the mind of a killer, the unlikely duo come together for the first and last time. Surprisingly they discover they have more in common than they thought. Except that one wants to grow their blossoming friendship, and the other wants to kill her new friend and eat her flesh.
