Bio

Alina Panasenko is a director, screenwriter, and visual artist, born in 2000 in Severodonetsk, Ukraine, and based in Kyiv, Ukraine. She is a member of the Ukrainian Film Academy. She studied at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television (screenwriter) and Serhiy Melnychenko MYPH School (conceptual and art photography), Pinchuk Art Centre curatorial course. She has directed short films “20-11-7.mp4” (winner of Molodist IFF), “Teatralna Station” (winner of best editing at TISFF, participated in competition at Tallinn Black Nights IFF), and “Prelude”. Alina is the co-writer of the feature film La Palisiada, directed by Philip Sotnychenko.
