Nadia Parfan is a Kyiv-based film director, writer, and creative producer. Her student film “Reve ta Stohne on Tour” (2016) received a special mention at DocudaysUA IHRFF. Nadia’s feature debut Heat Singers (2019) premiered at Visions du Reel. It was awarded as the best documentary film by the Ukrainian Film Academy (2019) and the best documentary by the Ukrainian Film Critics Association. Nadia’s recent short fiction film “It’s a Date” received a special jury mention at Berlinale (2023). Her documentary short “I did not want to make a war film” was commissioned by The New Yorker (2023).
