Badih Massaad graduated with high honors in film directing at ALBA in 2005. His award-winning short, “Badkon shi…t?,” screened at prestigious film festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand. Since 2004, he has been working as both director and 1st AD on numerous commercials, music videos, and shorts. He also participated in Berlinale Talents in 2006. Since 2012, he has been teaching directing and editing at ALBA. He also co-directed the award-winning documentary A Certain Nasser (2017). Badih is currently with MC Distribution and Abbout Productions, working on MENA film distribution and programming at Metropolis Cinema and the Red Sea International Film Festival.
