Sara Abdallah is an Egyptian editor and sister of director and editor Ahmed Abdullah. After graduating from Cairo University, she studied low-budget filmmaking at the Jesuit Film School in Cairo. She worked professionally for the first time as an assistant director in her brother’s feature film Heliopolis.

Her work includes Microphone (2011), for which she won the Best Editing Award from the Dubai International Film Festival in 2010. In 2014, she edited the movie Decor, which premiered at the London International Film Festival among several other festivals. Working alongside Mayye Zayed, the documentary Lift Like a Girl premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2020.
