Abdulrahman Khawj is a screenwriter, director, and film producer. Abdulrahman wrote seven feature screenplays, three of which were semi-finalists for the Sundance Screenwriting Lab. Abdulrahman directed and produced two independent feature films in Saudi Arabia: his first, The Great Muse (2018), Arbaoon Aman wa Laylah (40 Years and One Night), which was set to premiere at the Red Sea Film Festival in 2020, and The Physical Properties of Coffee (2021). His last short film, “First Feature” (2019), recently had its European premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Abdulrahman is also a Berlinale Talents Alumni (2019).
