Behind the Seams: Costume Design

Fresh from Sundance with Greener Grass, Lauren Oppelt will give her insights into the wonderful world of being a costume designer. Topics covered will include how costume design informs character and story; how to budget for the costume department; how early you should hire a costume designer; why the costume designer and production designer need to communicate; things to consider when shooting a period film; and money-saving tips when shooting ultra-low budget.
