A longtime staple of the LA Film Festival, our Coffee Talks series has brought together filmmakers in lively, fascinating, freewheeling conversations for years. Now, we’ve relaunched the series online so you can join in and enjoy your coffee with other filmmakers at home around the world.

June has arrived and that means Pride Month is here. To celebrate, we’re thrilled to be joined by two icons of New Queer Cinema: Gus Van Sant (My Own Private Idaho, Elephant, Milk) and John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Shortbus, Shrill). Tune in for an hour of thought-provoking and inspiring conversation, with a chance for participants to ask questions.
