Film Independent’s Future Filmmakers program will kick off with a free screening of the Sundance award-winning documentary, Jawline. The film follows Austyn Tester, a 16-year-old social media star, and his quest to escape his dead-end life in rural Tennessee. A conversation with director Liza Mandelup will follow the screening.

Ticketing/Parking Information

Film Independent Members and the general public can reserve screening tickets starting at 12:00 pm on Thursday, July 25. | Screening tickets are free; limit four per reservation.

Parking is FREE for up to 3 hours; must have screening ticket to have parking validated by ArcLight. $1.00 for each additional 30 minutes; max of $12.00.

Park in one of three downtown Culver City parking structures: Ince Parking Structure, Cardiff Parking Structure or Watseka Parking Structure. Arclight validates for all three structures.

Due to ongoing construction, parking in Culver City is limited. Consider alternatives such as ride-sharing, the Metro Expo Line or Culver City Bus.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets may be picked up on the day of the event, as early as 9:30 am – look for Film Independent signage. Tickets are for general, unreserved theater seating. Ticketed guests must be in their seat(s) 15 minutes prior to the advertised start time or seat(s) may be released. Reservations do not guarantee entry, even with a ticket in hand. Entry/seating will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are nontransferable and can only be picked up by the individual who reserved them.
