Pitch Like a Pro: Sell Your Story with Confidence
Pitching, like all forms of public speaking, is often viewed with dreaded anticipation. Speaking about your passion project to a room full of strangers who make decisions about your film or series can easily spark anxiety amongst the best of us. And, your pitch won’t be the only one they’ll hear that day, week, or month. Not only do you have to effectively communicate your vision, you have to stand out from the rest of the pack with a presentation that grabs their attention and proves that your story is worth telling.
So, how do you impress a busy executive and leave an impact long after you’ve left the room or closed the Zoom? Entertainment career coach Jim Arnoff will answer that question and more as he joins us to discuss the key elements that make a powerful, engaging and memorable pitch. Join in to learn the elements required to create a strong pitch, properly “read the room” to connect with your audience, and articulate your story succinctly and effectively. If the pitching process has always felt like a mystery or you just want to up your game, this is the session for you.
