Anne Lai

SFFILM

Anne Lai currently serves as Executive Director of SFFILM, a nonprofit artist organization based in San Francisco that delivers year-round screenings and events, film education programs to regional students and families, and a robust artist development and granting program launching and nurturing new generations of filmmakers.

Prior to SFFILM, Anne served as the founding Director of Creative Producing and Artist Support at Sundance Institute, launching the first Institute program dedicated to nurturing independent producers with the Creative Producing Lab & Fellowship. During her tenure there, she worked with over 300 screenwriters, directors, and producers helping to launch a significant and bold collection of voices and films from early development through production and distribution.

She began her career at Scott Free Productions, the film and television production company founded by brothers Ridley and Tony Scott.
