Logline

Novelist Uncle Baby Benny and influencer @catlikesmoney cross paths at a vacation rental in Monterey, CA where they form a symbiotic bond in their shared pursuit for meaning in the weirdness of being a human on this planet and discover that Romance isn’t everything, but love is.

Synopsis

AGAIN AND AGAIN THEN THE END is a 93-minute auteur driven experimental comedy led by the distinct and humorous voice of Benjamin Font that is juxtaposed by the girl’s girl charisma of Cat Limket as both play fictionalized versions of themselves on screen – novelist Uncle Baby Benny and influencer @catlikesmoney – who are in search of meaning, connection, and love in the miraculous absurdity of being alive. Finding levity in the eccentric characters around them – like Brandon Keener’s “Ronny” and Emanuel Borria’s “Manny B” – the film is a meta exploration of the entertainment industry/the arts and an affectionate character study that illustrates the importance of collaboration both in front of the camera and behind it.

Font’s film career began as the co-writer of Orion Pictures’ Dreamland (Tribeca, World Premiere) before making his feature directorial debut soon after with the dark holiday comedy Madness, Farewell, which he also wrote, produced, and starred in as the co-lead. AGAIN AND AGAIN THEN THE END marks Font’s second feature film as a writer/director and his first official co-direction with long-time collaborator, Noah Applebaum, under their Luxurious Squalor Inc. banner. Both also produced the film alongside Jacquelyn Ryan-Krichevsky of Lost Light Films and Cat Limket. It was shot on location in Los Angeles and Monterey, California + Siena, Italy and is an Italian co-production with Luca Severi Production Group with executive producers Luca Severi and Sebastiano Pestoni.

Font, Applebaum, and Ryan-Krichevsky also have several other feature projects in development together, including the rom-com franchise ETERNAL PURSUIT, which has garnered multiple screenplay competition awards and received special invitation by LargoAI to pitch at their live events at Cannes and AFM 2026.
