Logline

A visual companion to artist Baby Yors’s soaring album, “VIVE!,” the dystopian drama Any Moment Now charts the unlikely connection between a disabled dancer and Earth’s last pregnant woman, whose surreal, interconnected fates–scored to writer/director Yors’s music–conjure the album’s themes of loss, mortality and artistic redemption, while providing an intimate snapshot of a broader message as big as life itself.

Synopsis

Two stories intertwined.

A very intimate POV, inside a very large dystopian setting.

A single mother is the last woman on earth to be pregnant. Her daughter becomes one of the last humans to be alive. We see parts of the girl’s life until her last moments in an increasingly lonely world.

A ballet dancer who can no longer dance asks himself what the point of it all is, to then realize that he’s the one writing the story of the woman above as a way of transitioning to a new art form.

From Dancer to writer. All with the music as the main character.
