During the literal Apocalypse, best friends Danse and Vidal hit up the last gay bar on Earth, where cosmic loneliness forces them to confront the true meaning of love.
Synopsis
True love has been pretty hard to come by ever since The Throne, a massive and possibly Divine orb of pure energy, appeared in the sky to herald the Apocalypse. Ever since, DANSE (20s) has found chasing after love to be a fool’s errand, unlike his best friend VIDAL (20s) who’s never had to chase but loves the thrill of it. While Vidal parties like it could all end at any moment, Danse becomes increasingly reclusive as thoughts of instantaneous death, or worse, heartbreak fill his mind. One night, Vidal catches Danse by surprise to propose a night on the town and, of course, recreational drugs. After a lot of pestering, Danse finally agrees and together they set off on what could easily be the last night of their love lives.
