Logline

Glen Penfield’s inspiring true story brings us explanations of the earth and universe. In an Indiana Jones like detective adventure, Glen who is both a geologist and a man of faith discovers the end of the dinosaurs and origin of human life on earth.

Synopsis

While searching for oil with a magnetometer survey in 1978, beneath sixty-six million years of sediment, Glen Penfield encounters never-before-seen results.

He finds more than oil. The end of the dinosaurs. The beginning of the human race. And evidence of another massive strike to come.

Now he must convince the world!
 

Meet the Filmmakers


James Guyer – Producer
Jim is Principal of The Calling Production a film production company. He has produced Ping Pong Summer, directed by Michael Tully and starring Susan Sarandon and Lea Thompson; The Surgeon of the Rusty Knife (A Dangerous Practice), directed by Gustavo Fernandez starring James Faulkner, Danton Mello, and Juliana Paes and Executive Produced Sasquatch Sunset starring Jessie Eisenburg and Riley Keough. Jim is inspired that Frank Capra was an engineer prior to his film career – Jim was an Engineer with a University of London Masters in Law practicing domestic and international dispute resolution on major construction projects.

Matt Shapira – Director
Matt Shapira is an internationally recognized artist and filmmaker from the United States. Trained by his father David, to become a talent agent, Shapira left the representation world, to follow his calling and passion for telling stories through cinema and art. As a filmmaker, he’s best known for directing Faith based films starring David A.R. White, Nothing is impossible, Love on the Rock, and Finding Love in Quarantine. In addition, Shapira is known for his first film, a noir thriller titled Disappearance, as well as the Lionsgate comedy Swing of Things, starring Luke Wilson.

Kevin Bernhardt — Writer
Kevin has over 34 produced screenplays ranging from commercial action to critically and spiritually-acclaimed films. In the past 4 years, he has had 4 films shot as a writer/producer with budgets ranging up to $30 million. His work has included Academy Award winners and nominees including Michael Caine, Dennis Hopper, Patti LuPone, Christopher Plummer, Donald Sutherland, John Lithgow, Nick Nolte, Djimon Hounsou, and Sylvester Stallone.
