Bravo approaches her work through research on social imaginaries and their consequences in everyday practices, such as gender violence and sexual diversity, focusing on the body as a political/poetic support. Bravo proposes a “trans-disciplinary” artistic practice, drawing from multiple disciplines, artistic and non-artistic, to carry out complex processes resulting in audiovisual experiments, blurring boundaries between audiovisual media and contemporary art.  Awards: Two honorable mentions at the Diversex 2008 Festival, Havana Biennial 2009, Venice  Biennale 2015, First prize for Best Editing in Short Documentary at the Mérida Film Festival  2023, Second prize UNA=TODAS Contemporary Art, CAF 2023.
