Bio
Arifur Rahman is a producer, director, and film educator based in Dhaka. A graduate of the Busan Asian Film School, he has participated in programs including the Asian Film Academy, Locarno Open Doors Lab, Global Media Makers Residency, La Fabrique Cinéma de l’Institut Français at the Cannes Film Festival, and the Film Independent Producing Lab. His films have screened at major festivals: Venice, Rotterdam, Busan, and Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. His productions include Kingdom of Clay Subjects, Live from Dhaka, and the Oscar-nominated A House Named Shahana. He is currently producing Moving Bangladesh, set to shoot in April 2026.
