Azza Hourani is a Jordanian producer and assistant director with over 15 years of industry experience. She graduated in 2011 from the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts. Her recent project as a producer, feature documentary My Sweet Land, garnered support from prestigious institutions such as ITVS, ARTE, IDFA, and the International Documentary Association, then went on to premiere at Sheffield DocFest 2024. It won the audience, jury, and FIPRESCI awards for best documentary at Amman International Film Festival 2024. As an assistant director, Azza’s portfolio includes significant projects such as Hajjan, TIFF 2023, and Inshallah A Boy, Cannes 2023.
