Bruno Fatumbi Torres is an award-winning Brazilian filmmaker, producer, and ESG specialist and Global Media Makers alumnus. He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Sustainability, Regulation, and ESG Transparency from Fundação Getulio Vargas. His short films have received 80 awards and screened at festivals including Clermont-Ferrand, Huesca, and Havana. He received the SIGNIS/OCIC Award for the short film, ‘O Último Raio de Sol.’ In 2022, he directed his first feature film, A Espera de Liz, recognized as the first Brazilian feature to offset the carbon emissions of its production fully. He received audience design training from the World Cinema Fund at Berlinale.
