Bio

Darius Marder is a director and editor working and living in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife and two children. Marder worked as director, editor, and cinematographer on his first feature film Loot, which won the Best Documentary Jury Prize at the 2008 Los Angeles Film Festival and was nominated for a Spirit Award before premiering on HBO in May 2009. He was also an editor on the Oscar- and Sundance-winning documentary Freeheld. Currently he is in production on his second feature documentary Savior.
