Bio

Half-French/half-American, Erwann Marshall grew up traveling the world, living all over Europe, across the United-States and North-West Africa. This multi-cultural upbringing instilled his desire to become a visual storyteller. A graduate of NYU’s film program, Marshall is a writer, director and producer who has worked in television, commercials, features and music videos. As a director, his short films have played numerous film festivals. His short Numb, was an honoree at the 2011 Emerging Cinematographer Awards, and won Best Short at the Hoboken International Film Festival. He is currently in post on the mixed-martial arts themed short film One More Round, starring Chuck Liddell. In 2010, Marshall wrote City of Golden Sand for Chinese director Woo-Ping Yuen and Ambush Entertainment. He is currently working with Cold Iron Pictures to direct his first feature, The Time Capsule, which he also co-wrote. Marshall is a 2015 Film Independent Directing Lab fellow.

Logline

In the near future, a jaded politician fresh off an electoral loss escapes with his controlling wife to the French beach home where he spent summers as a teen. Their vacation is disrupted by the appearance of his first love, who has just returned from a 20-year space voyage and hasn't aged a day.
