From the sun-scorched hills of Calabria to the film sets of Florence and London, Fortunato Valente has spent his career chasing stories worth telling. Trained in filmmaking, forged on set, his work has taken him through productions for RAI, Endemol and Netflix. His short films have traveled through international festivals. Today, based in Southern Italy, he’s completing his first feature documentary on human rights and developing his first fiction feature as a director.
