Bio

As independent film producers, Gina and Laura have produced multiple projects. Their film credits include: Asylum, Kartenspieler, He Bop! , Children of the Struggle, Roberta Loved, Saved! (Directors test shoot for the feature, produced in association with Single Cell Pictures and MGM/UA), Seventy (in association with FOX Searchlab) and most recently, Heavy Put-Away (also in association with FOX Searchlab).

Heavy Put-Away, directed by Joel Plotch (Editor for films such as Nurse Betty, Men of Honor, Your Friends and Neighbors, The Shape of Things, and many others), and starring Gretchen Mol, Dallas Roberts and Mark Boone Junior is scheduled to begin making the festival rounds in January 2004, once the Sundance announcements have been made. Seventy, directed by award winning writer/director Q. Allan Brocka (who was featured in the 2003 AMC summer hit, Gay Hollywood, and directed the hilarious animated series Rick and Steve The Happiest Gay Couple In All The World) had a spectacular premier screening at the Philadelphia Film Festival in April of 2003 and continues to screen at festivals around the world. Seventy has taken home many awards, including the Audience Award for Best Short Film at the 2003 New York Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Roberta Loved, also a multi award winning Brocka masterpiece continues to screen at festivals around the world, and recently received distribution with Frameline.

Goff-Kellam Productions has several compelling screenplays, all in various stages of development. Most recently, Goff and Kellam have partnered on a shocking and entertaining ensemble dramedy, A Vicious Circle, by award winning writer Spencer Beglarian and to be directed by Brian To (director of Audit, starring Sally Kirkland, Alexis Arquette and Judy Greer). A Vicious Circle is in pre-production and scheduled for production by early 2004. Another low budget, quirky, character driven project in preparation stages is Beauty And The Brains, by Q. Allan Brocka, and is tentatively scheduled for production with producers Goff and Kellam sometime in 2004. William Morris Agency is currently assisting with attaching talent.

A larger Goff-Kellam project in development is Deprivation (psychological thriller), also written by Q. Allan Brocka, is currently circulating with studios and select production companies for a potential co-production situation. Additionally, Goff and Kellam have partnered with Brocka on his latest commercial screenplay entitled, Teen Bitch (dark comedy) for future production. The final draft of Teen Bitch is expected in November of 2003. Other Goff-Kellam projects in development include: Love Sick (comedy) and The Sound of Perfection (inspirational true story).

Gina and Laura’s film related memberships include: Women In Film, American Film Institute and Independent Feature Project/LA. Laura’s business background “pre-film industry” includes more than a decade of management and business experience and additional experience in a successful entrepreneurial partnership with Gina. Prior to the film business, Gina has an extensive legal background and additional business experience as a successfully self-employed entrepreneur.
