Hana Kazim received her MFA at the AFI Conservatory. She has been a film executive in the UAE since 2015 and has been involved in the production of several Arab films. In 2018, Hana directed “Makr”, which screened at several genre festivals, including Fantastic Fest and FrightFest. It gained over a million views online through the Alter platform and was featured on ‘Short of the Week’. In 2022, Hana started Wiswas, a Middle Eastern horror-focused development company based in the UAE, and has since written and directed the pilot episode of the horror anthology series Kaboos (2023) for StarzPlay Arabia.
