Bio

Hailing from Tucson, Arizona, Jackson Stewart moved to Los Angeles in 2007. He’s written or co-written for the CW’s Supernatural, the SyFy Channel, and a project for executive producer Anthony Zuiker (CSI). He’s worked as an assistant to legendary horror director Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator) and currently holds a membership with the Writers Guild of America. Along with that, he’s fabled to have beaten some of the hardest Nintendo Entertainment System games without the usage of cheat codes. Beyond The Gates is his directorial debut.

Logline

Several months after their father's disappearance, estranged brothers Gordon and John Hardesty reunite to liquidate their Dad's long-forgotten video store. Soon after, they unearth an other worldly VCR board game and learn the only way to save their father's soul is by undertaking the game's nightmarish challenges.
