Bio

An Assistant Professor of Film and Television at the University of Arizona, Jacob has edited over a dozen celebrated documentary films, including the 2016 Sundance Special Jury Prize Winner “The Bad Kids” (FilmRise, ITVS, Netflix), the international theatrical hit “Lost In La Mancha” (IFC Films) and two Independent Lens films. His producing credits include “Finding Tatanka” (Passion River Films), which premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival; “Pure,” which premiered at the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival; the doc feature “Indies Under Fire” (Alexander Street Press); and Lisa Molomot’s first documentary feature “The Hill” (Cinema Guild).
