An award-winning Egyptian writer/director who has worked as a freelance news/documentary producer on multiple international productions. She worked as an AD on feature films for prominent directors. In 2015, she was a senior producer for the OSN/Discovery Channel show Nida’, which portrayed women’s stories in the Middle East. Her first short film screenplay, “Reminiscent of a Lost Time”, was nominated for the Robert Bosch Stiftung prize. Her second short, “Turning Ten,” premiered in the official selection of Clermont-Ferrand IFF in 2019. Her feature, The Inevitable Journey to Find a Wedding Dress, premiered at the El Gouna Film Festival in 2024.
