Bio

Born in Trinidad & Tobago and raised in Toronto, Judy T. Marcelline moved to Los Angeles and began working in the theater community. She wrote, directed and produced the short film Grey Matters, which was an official selection at the Los Angeles Short Film Festival and the New York Short Film Festival. She also produced the DramaLogue Award-winning play Anna Lucasta, and Moon on a Rainbow Shawl, which won the NAACP Theater Award. Marcelline formed Production HQ with writer/director Jay Lee and producer Angela Lee and produced the horror feature The Slaughter. She also produced the promotional trailer Invisible for actor/director Bill Duke, who was instrumental in greenlighting the film. Now under the title Cover, the film stars Patti LaBelle and Vivica A. Fox, and was directed by Bill Duke.
