Kimberly was born and raised in Puerto Rico and began her entertainment career producing local television and live concerts. In New York she directed, produced and wrote for Oxygen Media Online and Television Network. She’s produced for Urbanworld Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and IFP Los Angeles. She co-produced the independent film The Height Of The Sky, winning the best picture at the 1999 Telluride Film Festival. She has an MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies in New York University and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Tisch School of the Arts. She recently produced Naked TV for Fox Television and the Naked Angels Theater Company. She currently is the Creative Director of Tuesdays@9 LA for the Naked Angels Theater Company, a cold reading series that facilitates the writer’s process and the development or plays and screenplays.
