Lissette Rodriguez was raised in Whittier, California by Dominican Immigrants. As a teenager she attended the LA County High School for the Arts, where she followed a concentration in Visual Arts and fell in love with film. She graduated from New York University with a double major in Film & TV Production and Spanish. It was at NYU that Rodriguez discovered a love of editing, and decided to pursue it as a career. She has edited shorts, and has worked on various commercials, features and TV shows as an Assistant Editor. She is currently working as an Assistant Editor on a feature entitled Life After Beth. Rodriguez lives in Los Angeles, and when she is not doing film-related things, she is pursuing her other passions, which include drawing, cooking and foreign languages.
