Mariam Al-Dhubhani is an award-winning Yemeni-Russian filmmaker, curator, and educator. A three-time TEDx speaker and VR storytelling pioneer, she creates films that amplify marginalized voices and challenge dominant narratives. Her work has earned international recognition, including the Most Promising Filmmaker Award at the Toronto Arab Film Festival (2019), as well as recognition as a Rising Star in Qatar and Egypt, establishing her as a leading voice in Arab and African cinema. She is currently completing her feature debut, which has been showcased at Cannes, IDFA, and Venice.
