Bio

Marvin Bryan Lemus is a Mexican-American comedy director, producer and editor who has worked on a variety of videos which have gained millions of views online and has been featured on The Huffington Post, Gizmodo, UpWorthy, Fast Company, Funny Or Die, and Mic.com to name a few. However, his grandmother still hasn’t seen any of them because she doesn’t know what YouTube is and only speaks Spanish. In under three years, Lemus directed over 50 sketches with his sketch group, The Kids Table, and gained over 10k subscribers. The Kids Table’s work has been screened at SXSW 2013, 2013 LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival, 2014 San Jose International Short Film Festival, and won the Best Web Series Award at the 2013 Montreux Comedy Festival for their sketch, Vine Tries to Make a Commercial for Vine in Vine. Lemus’ grandmother would especially not understand the concept of Vine. Additionally, Lemus developed and produced multiple shows for Russell Simmons’ YouTube channel, All Def Digital, before launching Moose Hill Productions. Under Moose Hill, Lemus directed and produced the successful viral video campaign for the feature film, Dear White People, which garnered over 5 million views. Presently, Lemus is developing a web series with The Kids Table and writing his first feature length film in Spanish and English, which Lemus hopes will help his grandmother finally understand what he does for a living.
