Merieme Addou is a Moroccan filmmaker. She holds a degree in Law from Mohammed V University and a Master’s degree in Documentary Film. She began her career in the film industry as a freelance producer for a number of renowned media outlets.

In 2014, she co-directed the acclaimed documentary, Pirates of Salé. Her work as a director was further established with her film, Suspended Wives, released in 2021.
