Neo is a passionate writer and filmmaker whose films are grounded in the positive representation of young black people. After graduating from Wits University in 2015 with an Honours Degree in Performance Studies and Television Studies, Neo started working as a storyliner and scriptwriter on various South African soapies and dramas. Highlights include Netflix’s Savage Beauty, Paramount’s MTV Shuga and Mzansi Magic’s The River. Since 2018, she has written and produced 14 made for TV Films and 4 feature films through her company. 64After participating in the Netflix 2022 Realness Episodic Lab, she is currently developing films and series.
