Quinton is currently an in-house producer for Spier Films South Africa and serves as a Director and Co-Life Chair of the South African Film Academy. In 2007, his company Pitch Black Films won a SAFTA for the documentary series What’s Your Story? He has worked on a number of other documentaries and short films, including the powerful coming-of-age documentary Vision to Dream, which screened at Encounters International Documentary Film Festival. Since 2015, he has managed the CSI after-school programme on the Cape Flats for Kalahari Film and Media, teaching film and television production to students most impacted by gang and drug violence.
